Magic.
The very word stirs something deep within us, doesn't it?
A sense of wonder, a yearning to touch the unseen. Throughout history, we've heard tales of gnomes, elves, sprites, and pixies.
These enchanting beings are more than just folklore— they hold a strong connection with the elemental realms and nature itself.
Elementals inhabit realms parallel to ours, supported by the frequencies of the elements themselves, which give foundation to our physical world.
The elements found in nature become portals into these magical kingdoms where we've heard all sorts of myths and stories.
Under a sprawling oak tree, the leaves whisper secrets to the wind. By a stream, the water's gentle trickle tickles the soul. On a beach, the rhythmic crash of waves seems to wash away worries. In a grass meadow, the scent of wildflowers mingles with the hum of bees. These are all natural points of power, and where elementals love to dance.
In traditional views, elementals are often disguised in folklore and fairytales (fairies are a type of elemental). But Divine Magic offers a different perspective that goes beyond the norm.
They are integral to the balance of the universe, working alongside humans and higher spirits.
They are the unseen custodians, the silent guardians of nature's harmony...and they represent a much richer astral reality.
This is the second degree of Divine Magic I've unlocked, following the Seven Sacred Flames.
If you've never heard of this, you might want to check out my previous blog post on the Seven Sacred Flames.
It lays the foundation for what we will explore today.
In this post, we’ll delve into the world of elemental and elementary magic.
The Classic View of Elementals

Elementals have intrigued humanity for centuries. Their origins can be traced back to the writings of Paracelsus in the 1500s.
Paracelsus, a Swiss physician and alchemist, categorised these beings into four types: Salamanders (fire), Sylphs (air), Undines (water), and Gnomes (earth).
These classifications have since woven themselves into the fabric of our cultural consciousness.
Many ancient cultures believed that elementals were responsible for natural phenomena.
They saw these beings as the driving force behind the elements, explaining the dynamics of the universe through their actions.
For example, fairies calling to the buzzing bees, inviting them into their flowery homes... while the gentle breeze was attributed to whispering Sylphs.
Paracelsus described elementals as entities composed of their respective elements.
Salamanders, for instance, were believed to be made of pure fire. This is a reflection of ancient wisdom that sought to explain the natural world through these beings...
Elementals possess a type of awareness, albeit different from human consciousness.
They don't have souls as we understand them, but they do have an instinctive consciousness.
They group together in families, much like the elements in the periodic table. This instinctive consciousness is still in development, evolving over time.
Their role in nature is profound.
Elementals are the unseen custodians of natural places. They balance the energies, ensuring that forests, rivers, and meadows maintain their magical essence.
This is why natural places often feel so enchanting and rejuvenating. It’s the elementals at work, maintaining harmony.
Transitioning to Divine Magic: Beyond the Traditional

While the traditional view of elementals offers a glimpse into mystical and ancient wisdom, Divine Magic provides a perspective that goes beyond the norm.
It delves deeper, revealing insights that traditional teachings only hint at.
In Divine Magic, we learn that everything is a mystery of the divine.
We don’t have all the answers; things are supposed to be confusing and veiled.
However, through the Divine Magic of the Elements course, more is revealed.
Elementals are not just mythical beings confined to folklore — They inhabit a dimension parallel to ours.
Their influence on our world and ourselves is profound. They work alongside humans and higher spirits, playing a crucial role in both the spiritual and material realms.
The Elementals course offers a unique approach to understanding these beings.
Unlike mainstream views, Divine Magic teaches that there is a crucial distinction between elemental beings and elementary beings.
Often, people lump these together under the term "elementals," but Divine Magic clarifies the differences and their unique roles.
Elemental beings are pure manifestations of the elements, living in energetic mediums that align with their nature.
On the other hand, elementary beings are more basic and instinctual, operating on a different level of consciousness.
These distinctions are key when working with them in a magical sense. Each type of being has different properties and influences.
Both elemental and elementary beings in Divine Magic are seen as powerful allies. When properly evoked and directed, they assist us in solving or dissolving our spiritual and material issues.
Their energies can be harnessed to bring about balance and harmony in our lives.
This perspective invites us to see elementals not just as whimsical characters from stories, but as real, powerful entities that influence our world in profound ways.
Understanding the Seven Elemental Dimensions

In the teachings of Divine Magic, there are seven elemental dimensions, not just the traditional four.
These dimensions form the foundation of our physical plane and act as gateways into our reality.
They are subtle, yet they underpin everything we experience in the material world.
Aquatic Dimension: The realm of water energy.
Telluric Dimension: The dimension of earth energy.
Eolian Dimension: The realm of air energy.
Igneous Dimension: The domain of fire energy.
Mineral Dimension: The realm of mineral energy.
Crystal Dimension: The higher vibrational realm of crystal energy.
Vegetal Dimension: The dimension of plant life energy.
These dimensions are extremely subtle. We move through them all the time, yet we cannot access them with our senses.
Together, these dimensions form the base or foundation of our first physical plane of existence on Earth.
In Law of One terms, and the way I choose to understand this, it all fits within the First Density of Consciousness.
Elemental beings reside in these dimensions. They’re made of, surrounded by, and feed off their respective elements.
For instance, an igneous elemental being is composed purely of igneous elemental energy. It lives and feeds off this energy, completely immersed in its fiery realm.
The same goes for aquatic beings, who exist in a realm of pure water energy. They live and breathe that energy. The same principle applies to the other elements.
These dimensions are not just theoretical constructs… They are living, breathing realities that form the base of our existence on Earth.
By understanding and tapping into these dimensions, we can harness the pure frequencies of the elements and the beings within them, to effect change and bring about balance and harmony in our lives.
Pure Elementals and their Evolutions

In the realm of Divine Magic, elementals are not a monolithic group.
There are different levels of intellect and evolution within the elemental realm.
Some elemental beings are super advanced and intelligent, while others are more basic.
Think of it like the animal kingdom: we have wild animals, domesticated animals, and pets.
Similarly, there are different species and types of life within the elemental realms, each sharing the element they are a part of, that they originated in, and that nourishes them.
Elemental beings follow an evolutionary scale. Some are very young, while others have existed for millennia.
Unlike us humans, whose mental capacity grows and energy fields expand as we evolve, elemental beings grow in a different way.
Our spiritual evolution allows us to express our inner light more and more, radiating our unique essence and aligning with creation.
In contrast, elemental beings simply get bigger and more powerful, embodying the vastness of their elemental energy.
Over time, they can become enormous, fully immersing themselves in their elemental nature, and even moving on to further dimensions beyond their origin.
Another aspect of elementals is their collective experience.
They operate similarly to a social memory complex, as described in the Law of One.
Elemental beings that share the same level of development have access to each other's experiences and learn from what the others have encountered.
This collective consciousness allows them to evolve and grow together in groups.
The universe and the Creator are profoundly mysterious, filled with infinite possibilities of life. The elemental realm is yet another way life and the Creator chooses to express itself.
We don't fully understand the vastness and complexity of these dimensions, but we can appreciate them as unique expressions of divine energy.
Interestingly, some spiritual teachings suggest that humans and other spiritual beings begin their journeys as “elementary” spirits.
These basic spirits originate in one of the elemental dimensions, taking in and living one particular elemental energy before moving on to other realms and becoming more complex.
This origin shapes our spiritual personalities, as we each resonate with a particular element.
The Art of Elemental Magic

Elemental magic is the conscious act of the elemental mage to address imbalances in the lives of others or in their surroundings.
This form of magic primarily works with the pure energies of the elements themselves, known as elemental frequencies.
However, it is also possible to call upon elemental beings if necessary. These beings are capable of rebalancing our elemental and energetic bodies.
The practice of elemental magic involves using a particular physical element that acts as a sensor, concentrator, and emanator of the elemental energy.
This could be anything from a crystal, a glass of water, a stick, or a piece of metal...
By activating and harnessing the pure frequencies of the elements, elemental mages can effect change and bring about balance and harmony.
Fairytales and myths often paint a picture of evil witches, wizards, and sorcerers using elemental magic for destructive purposes. However, this is a misconception.
True elemental magic cannot be used for negative or destructive purposes—it is inherently pure.
The confusion arises from elementary magic, which is dual in nature and can be used both positively and negatively.
Elemental magic is pure and cannot be inverted. It works with the natural energies of the elements to heal, protect, and transform.
In contrast, elementary magic involves working with basic, primary beings that lack rationality and operate on a lower level of consciousness, driven by instinct and survival (more on that later).
Elementary Beings

Elementary beings, not to be confused with pure elementals, are basic entities at the beginning of their evolutionary path.
Elementary means basic, but it can also mean from the elements and of the elements.
This dual meaning is where some of the confusion arises. In our material plane, they can be likened to the bottom of the food chain—creatures such as rats, mice, insects, and scavengers.
These beings play a crucial role in maintaining balance, as they help to clean our environment. Without them, there would be an abundance of waste and grime. They fulfill essential roles, driven by their natural instincts and functions within our plane of existence.
In the spiritual sense, elementary beings are equally important. Their roles range from energising their surroundings to absorbing negative energies.
They bring about energetic balance by consuming the negative energies emanated from spirits vibrating intense negative feelings.
There are many types of elementary beings, some specific to certain dimensions and others more universal.
Just as the basic beings in our material world have their functions, so do elementary beings in other dimensions.
They operate on a lower level of consciousness, driven primarily by instinct and survival.
The most common way for elementary beings to reproduce in the etheric realms is through the union of male and female. However, some can reproduce on their own.
They’re at the base of the evolutionary scale, and their primary function is to consume energy emanated from negative spirits or energy generated within their natural habitat or dimension.
A pure elemental, such as a fire elemental, cannot absorb energies emanated by different elementals or by humans, whether positive or negative.
However, elementary fire beings can absorb "heavy" igneous energies, such as those emanated by fire elementals, and igneous energy from our bodies in the form of heat.
Elementary beings are capable of absorbing various types of heavy negative energy, such as hate and jealousy.
Understanding the roles and functions of elementary beings helps us appreciate their importance in the grand scheme of things.
They are not merely "lower" beings but essential components of the intricate web of life and energy that sustains our world.
Elementary Magic

Elementary magic involves invoking and working with elementary beings.
Both elemental magic and elementary magic help maintain balance in the environments where beings live and evolve.
While elemental magic works with the pure energies and beings of the elements, elementary magic works with creatures and "inferior" beings whose energies come from various forms of life.
Elementary magic can harness both positive and beneficial energies, as well as negative and harmful ones.
This dual nature means that the intentions of the practitioner play a crucial role in the outcome.
The magical elements used in elementary magic have their natural functions altered and are given new properties by the magical adept.
These elements are transformed to absorb, condense, and radiate energies aligned with the practitioner’s intentions.
Once the element is imbued, it can attract elementary beings that either help or harm, depending on the adept’s orientation.
Within elementary magic, each element has a dual capability and can be used for either polarity. The difference lies in the mage’s purpose and intention. The same applies to the beings invoked in ceremonies.
Remember that the Divine Thrones of God cannot be activated negatively—they are beyond duality.
In the same way, angels will not respond to someone possessed by negative thoughts... Demons on the other hand do not hesitate to answer these negative calls.
It’s essential to remember that using elementary magic for good will always return as a benefit to the practitioner. On the flip side, using it negatively will inevitably result in negative consequences for the practitioner... it’s just a matter of time.
Elemental vs. Elementary: Key Differences in Divine Magic

In Divine Magic, it's important to distinguish between elemental beings and elementary beings, even though the terms can sometimes overlap.
The term "elementary" means basic, but it can also mean from the elements and of the elements, which can cause some confusion.
Divine Magic clarifies these differences effectively.
Some beings, such as fire elementals, inhabit the igneous frequency band or dimension, making them pure elemental beings.
However, if a fire elemental is relatively new and not yet evolved, it could be classed as an elementary being.
(I'm already confused.)
These pure elementals only exist within the seven elemental dimensions mentioned above.
They are not multidimensional.
In contrast, elementary beings are made of very few elemental energies and are multidimensional.
Spiritual, esoteric, and occult literature traditionally discusses only four types of beings related to the four elements. This limited perspective overlooks the broader spectrum of beings that live and evolve in the basic vibratory band or elementary planes of nature.
In Divine Magic, we learn to work with both the pure elemental energies and to direct elementary energies for good.
This balances issues with the etheric body, which is vulnerable to energy vampirism.
Technically, the elementals we know, such as Fairies, Pixies, Gnomes, Elves, Mermaids, etc., are considered elementary beings— even though they sit within the elemental umbrella term.
These beings are considered elementary because they either contain more than one element (for example, fairies are both earth and air), or they exist outside of the pure elemental frequency band, making them multidimensional.
Black Magic and Elementary Beings

Unfortunately, black magic is a thing.
Yes, it really exists.
Black magic practitioners have access to and frequently call upon beings from other dimensions to fulfil their selfish endeavours.
Many of these negative adepts do not realise the full extent of what they are doing. Let’s be clear—some are fully aware and are pure evil—but many do not fully understand the multidimensional methods they work with.
They open portals to negative dimensions that should naturally be closed off to us spiritual humans.
When an entity is extracted from a negative plane of existence—its natural habitat where it is surrounded by an abundance of its own negative energy—and brought into our world, it naturally needs to feed.
These beings are forced into extracting and feeding off our vital energies.
What isn’t often discussed is that some of these negative beings are also considered elementals, as they feed off our elemental energies.
Have you ever felt the temperature drop suddenly in an eerie or spooky place?
That chilling whiff of cold air might be more than just a draft—it could be a negative entity feeding off your residual heat and energy. Sorry if that gave you a shiver!
Black magic opens negative magic portals daily, infesting our spiritual dimension and affecting all of us and our energies.
On a lighter note, practising divine magic and opening positive white magic spaces clears out a lot of the unwanted negative clutter.
I was told once that for every white magic space that is opened, it closes three negative ones.
Divine Magic of the Elementals: Practical Applications and Experiences

This magical practice can be performed with any of the seven elemental energies mentioned above, making it very versatile.
Opening magic spaces is a common and powerful way to perform elemental magic.
Similar to the Seven Sacred Flames, there is an initiation, a course, and lots of practice before the consecration ceremony where you become an elemental mage.
There are many specific magic spaces and spells you learn within this degree of magic.
Two magic spaces I learned to open during my course stood out in terms of power.
One involved using beer and another type of alcoholic beverage. This spell harnesses the power of natural fermentation—the transformational energies of the elements—to work in spiritual healing. It was incredibly powerful!
Another involved using meat.
I learned that some types of negative energy get stuck deep in our body tissue (I know that’s disgusting and horrible to think about).
The only way to remove these unwanted energies is to open a specific magic space using meat that acts as a similar environment (yuck).
After magically activating the elements within the meat, it acts as a transfer for these "bad energies," moving them from our physical bodies into the meat used in the magic space.
Conclusion

To recap:
Elemental beings only live and evolve in pure energetic mediums, with one particular elemental energy.
Elementary beings live in energetically mixed environments, formed by a few energies.
They are basic and guided by survival and instinct. Removing them from their natural habitat forces them to feed off our vital energies, often exploited in black magic.
So, we have: elemental beings, elemental dimensions, and elemental energies.
And we also have: elementary beings, elementary environments, and elementary energies.
What is commonly known about elemental magic and elementary magic is quite basic. There is a lot still hidden from us.
These magical practices, especially elementary magic, have been used for thousands of years, whether for good and helping others or for selfish gains.
Of course, there is a mysterious veil in place for us at the moment. We don’t have all the answers, nor are we supposed to. But it is interesting how some elemental beings have made it into folklore and fairytales, even though we don’t have the full scope of the infinite etheric universe they originate from.
Remember that only a few divine mysteries have been revealed to us.
We each have our way of life, and life flows through us in different ways and forms.
There are infinite parallel dimensions and spiritual dimensions that tap into intelligent infinity in their own unique ways.
