The Law Of One offers a unique perspective on reality.

Ever wondered how the Universe came to exist?

Do you ever catch yourself contemplating the meaning of life, your place in space or how it all came to be?

Understanding the fundamentals can clear things up a bit...

Open your eyes, tap into potential and experience infinity.

The First Distortions of the Law of One

While reading the Ra Material, there are a few foundational concepts that pop up here and there. The main one, evidently, is the Law of One - the idea that everything is a manifestation in one way or another of one infinite being. Everything circles back to this fundamental principle.

There are other concepts that are a part of and support this overarching idea.  Ra calls these distortions.

What is a Distortion in Law of One Terms?

Anything that is not the purest form of the Creator itself is considered a distortion. There are no negative connotations regarding distortion in the Law of One. It is simply a change from the original form.

Paint a Picture

Let's say you decide to paint a picture of yourself. A self-portrait.

What materials would you use?  A canvas and oils? Watercolours? A notepad and a pen?

How would you express yourself?

Take a moment to visualise what the result would be...

Even if you were the most talented artist, the resulting image would be a mere impression of your whole, complex being.

Would that painting fully be you in all your glory?  Would it encapsulate your entire character or is it more likely a snapshot, a signpost, a reference, a reflection of who you are in the moment?

An idea that you have or a creation of yours is not necessarily  you. However, it does contain your essence, and holds the potential for beauty.

Hence the principle behind distortions in the Law of One.

What are the First Distortions of the Law of One?

From the blank canvas of Intelligent Infinity, 3 primal distortions arose and have led to the creation of the Universe as we understand it. These first distortions are:

  • Free Will
  • LOVE
  • Light

Ra says:

From these three distortions come many, many hierarchies of distortions, each having its own paradoxes to be synthesised, no one being more important than another.

What is Intelligent Infinity?

This is all there really is.  This is UNITY. It is God, the creator, the mystery-clad being behind it all - the artist. It is from this space of infinite perfection that the first distortions arise.

When Ra attempts to describe Intelligent Infinity, they say it has a flow and a rhythm. Like the tide, flowing in and out or like a heartbeat - expanding and contracting.

These are the only qualities they mention for all is unified within infinity - there are no distortions and there is no polarity. Only the mysterious ebb and flow of infinite awareness.

Ra:

The intelligent infinity discerned a concept. This concept was discerned due to freedom of will of awareness. This concept was finity. This was the first and primal paradox or distortion of the Law of One. Thus the one intelligent infinity invested itself in an exploration of many-ness. Due to the infinite possibilities of intelligent infinity there is no ending to many-ness. The exploration, thus, is free to continue infinitely in an eternal present.

Intelligent Infinity is potential.

Free Will

The first distortion of the Law of One.

Also called The Law of Free Will or the Way of Confusion.

Within unity and oneness, infinite awareness realised it had the choice (free will) to know itself.  A freedom to choose how to know itself, including through the illusion of separation.

Free will really is at the foundation of our reality.

It searches for a focus.

Love

The second distortion of the Law of One.

Also called The Logos or the Creative Principle.

Love is the primal co-creator in the Universe. It is the focusing of the potential of Intelligent Infinity.

Love taps into the potential of intelligent infinity and focuses it into intelligent energy.

Light

The third distortion of the Law of One.

Also called Intelligent Energy.

Light is the product of the focus/Love or the Logos tapping into the potential of intelligent infinity.

Ra:

There is one energy. It may be understood as love/light or light/love or intelligent energy.

The Creation of the Universe

From a place of unity, known as intelligent infinity, an idea was discerned. That idea was the concept of free will. Intelligent infinity realised it had the choice to know itself in infinite ways.

A portion of this infinity chose to focus and become a co-creator. Our milky way galaxy is one type of co-creative force or Logos that has created intelligent energy. Intelligent energy is another way of describing the Universe we live in.

The Logos, a co-creative force, or Love, created the photon or light, which is the building block of matter and has expanded to become the Universe we inhabit.

Just as intelligent infinity is the macrocosm of the mystery-clad being, the photon is the microcosm. Light is a reflection of this intelligent energy.

Light is a holographic representation of the original creator behind it all, intelligent infinity.

The Logos or Love created Light.

The Meaning of Logos

Logos is another term for the second distortion or Love. It is the co-creative force. The term Logos is used very frequently in the Ra Material and I believe it is worth looking into the etymology.

The word “Logos” comes from Greek and it literally means Word or Reason or Order.  The Greek word Logos is also where the word Logic comes from.

These terms suggest the workings of intellect and of mind.

What is a Word?

A spoken word is a physical manifestation of your thoughts. Vibrated air, created by your vocal cords, carrying meaning. This is how I see the Logos. It is the co-creative force, the mind of the Galaxy or Universe tapping into infinite potential and manifesting meaning, vibrating it into existence.

The Physics of Creation in the Law of One

Don Elkins, the questioner in the Law of One series, held four degrees and was a professor of physics and also engineering. His mind was highly analytical and intuitive. He would always ask the right questions. When reading the Ra Material, it can get quite complicated, especially in terms of the physics.

Focus on Philosophy

Don always tried to break things down as much as possible and get to the details of how things work. Every now and again Ra would remind him that the intricacies and technique of the Law of One were not nearly as important as the message or the philosophy.

The Science of Consciousness

If you would like to delve into the depths of the physics of reality explained to some degree in the Law of One, I cannot recommend enough the work of David Wilcock. Especially the book Source Field Investigations. There are over one thousand academic references in that book alone. His work truly is the link between science and spirit.

Humbly Bringing it together

Intelligent energy is the physical universe as we know it. Matter is vibration, which is energy, at some level. Intelligent energy, then, is the melding of love and light. Love, the galactic or universal mind, created the photon/ light from outside of space and time - from intelligent infinity.

Love, the co-creative force, created matter through its own free will. With this came the densities and their lessons. Light can be split into the 7 colours, each representing the 7 densities and their teachings. They are seemingly fixed boundaries set by the Logos.

Love comes into Light through free will and activates it. Love could be perceived as a feminine, negative force. Negative in the sense that the energies are in-pouring and contracting, enabling and receptive. In the same way, Light could be seen as the positive, masculine force that is outgoing, expanding and reaching. It is this combination of outwards force, imbued with Love, that is Intelligent Energy.

That is what our Universe is made of.

YinYang

Love and Light are not separate from one another.  The Yin Yang symbol is a great representation of this.

Two seemingly opposing forces that are one and the same. As light pushes out into the Universe, there is also a pull back into love.

Love gives light direction and enables it to expand outward until it reaches a point spiritually where it seeks to return back into love. This is the flowing nature of creation.

The light particle, the photon, is fractal in nature. Meaning as it expands and creates the Universe, it is still a holographic representation of its original form. A microcosm of the whole. Therefore you may see patterns repeating and cycles occurring.

Consciousness is Structured

There is a type of hierarchy within creation. Our Galaxy is considered a Logos. Our Sun is considered a sub-Logos and we humans are considered sub-sub-Logos. We are all co-creators, each co-creating within the free will choice of the Logos above us. The beauty is that we are all part of the same original consciousness. We have the ability to tap into intelligent infinity - our essence - at any given moment.

Our Logos

Ra says that our Milky Way galaxy is a strong Logos. It has created 250 billion star systems, which are all sub-Logoi. The physics of creation are the same for these sub-Logoi. Our Sun is a sub-Logoi and has created conditions on our planet that we are a part of. We are sub-sub-Logoi and therefore have the ability to create, or more precisely, co-create realities within the conditions our Sun has offered us.

TAPPING INTO INFINITY

I love reading. Growing up, an aunt of mine would always give me books on my birthday. I am grateful for this. Her kind gesture sparked my interest in reading and there's always a book that I want for my birthday these days...

I tend to read books I believe will inspire me or ones recommended by those I follow and trust.

Mostly topics relating to the reality of the Universe, personal development, esoteric teachings, consciousness and spirit.

A book that changed me...

I read A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle in my early twenties. It’s a fantastic read and I recommend it. It teaches the reader and reminds you throughout to be present . It was the first time I'd had such a powerful spiritual experience outside of a planned meditation or something similar.

A Powerful Experience

An experience that transformed me forever. A realisation into the power of infinity and presence.

I was reading but my consciousness had expanded to the point I was aware of not only the intricacies of my body but without words I could grasp the entire cosmos. Like a fractal in reverse, zooming out of my bedroom, I felt my place within the constellations.

The beating drum of my heart, reverberating out. Not just a sound but a pressure. The flowing sensation of the blood being pumped through my veins. A train of awareness, visiting the countless stations of my body and checking in with the trillions of processes happening simultaneously.

It was beautiful.

The spaces between words on the page became portals into infinity.

A Paradigm Shift

My awareness shifted that day. I remember I was living in Brazil and taught English at a language school down the road. My routine was a swift, 2-minute walk and a rushed cigarette. My sights set on the tiny horizon at the end of my commute. A forgettable experience to say the least.

This book shifted my awareness massively.

Stepping out my front door, I was met with warm rays from the sun that hit me straight in the face. I was aware of how it felt, a comfortable feeling, it made me smile.

I could hear birds singing in the trees, as if they were calling me... something I had never noticed before...

Looking for them in the trees made me realise how much light was coming off the leaves. They were brimming with light and glowing with life as they gently swayed back and forth. It was like they were breathing. I could see how alive they were. I felt like they were greeting me... I'd had my eyes closed to them until that point.

I realised in that moment that it was possible to be present and to live my life.

It All Makes Sense

In that book, Eckhart talks about how the seemingly physical universe is expanding outwards and will eventually begin to contract inwards and how this is a reflection of us and how we live our lives. This fits perfectly into the perspective provided by the Law of One.

The Blueprint

Generally, we are born, imbued with love and choose to leave home, expand out into the unknown as young explorers. Adventurous at heart, searching for excitement and meaning in life. Eventually, we find love. Be that in the form of another being, an experience or simply and quite beautifully - within ourselves.

We then start to integrate all of our experiences and “contract” on our journey back home into love. This is a pattern that is a part of life. Open your eyes and you will see it everywhere. The outwards expansion and inwards contraction of the infinite being we are all a part of. It is seen in the journey of our lives as a whole as I just mentioned, it is seen in our day to day and on our commute to work.

We journey out, we work, we experience, we come home and integrate.

"How was your day?"

It is our day and night, our dream time integrating the experiences of the waking state.

Our breath.

We breathe in, we inspire, fill our lungs and then exhale and let go in relaxation.

The outwards expansion and inwards contraction.

We are a part of an infinite being, living its rhythmic heartbeat and flow of breath.

This ebb and flow, this movement is an intrinsic part of our very being because it actually IS  us

Infinite drops of awareness within the great sea of consciousness.

That moment in between breaths, the space between the words you read is the gateway to intelligent infinity.
