Have you ever felt a yearning for something more, a desire to tap into a power beyond the mundane?
Imagine if you could shape your reality, align your intentions with the universe, and manifest your deepest desires.
This isn't just fantasy—it's the transformative power of white magic.
White magic isn't just about spells and potions— it's about invoking the divine within you to create positive change, protection, healing, and transformation.
It's a spiritual practice that aligns with the principles of love, light, and unity, as taught in the Law of One.
What does this mean for you?
Imagine having the ability to attract what you truly want into your life—be it love, peace, or abundance—while repelling negativity and chaos.
Become a conduit for divine energy, channeling the Creator's infinite wisdom and love to not only transform your own life but also to serve others.
In this post, we'll explore the essence of white magic from a Law of One perspective.
We'll delve into the concept of the magical personality, an aspect of your higher self that holds the key to unlocking these mystical abilities.
What is White Magic?

White magic is more than just a mystical term— it's a spiritual practice aimed at positive change, healing, and service to others.
It’s about aligning yourself with the higher vibrations of love, light, and unity, and using this alignment to manifest goodness in the world.
In the Law of One, Ra sheds light on the essence of white magic.
Ra tells us:
This means that every act of white magic involves calling upon higher energies or aspects of the self to bring about desired outcomes.
It's like tuning into a cosmic frequency, where your intentions resonate with the divine.
To grasp the full meaning of white magic, we must first understand the concept of magic itself.
Don, a seeker of wisdom, asks Ra if magic could be defined as the ability to create changes in consciousness at will.
Ra responds,
So, what does this mean?
Magic, at its core, is the ability to create changes in consciousness at will.
But Ra's answer reveals a deeper truth: magic is about working with the unmanifested self.
Now, you might wonder, what is the unmanifested self?
The Law of One, teaches that everything is the self.
We are all part of the one infinite universe, interconnected and interwoven.
Ra further explains,
By aligning with the Creator, the universe and creation begin to flow through you and your actions.
Imagine being a conduit for divine energy, where every thought and action resonates with the harmony of the cosmos.
By being adept in white magic practices, we call in aspects of our unmanifested self—higher beings, divine forces that hear our call and aid us in our workings.
Ra also states,
In white magic rituals, divine forces are invoked, and powerful forms of love and protection are generated, serving as the key to intelligent infinity.
So, what is the unmanifested self?
In Ra’s terms, it is the Magical Personality.
The Magical Personality

The magical personality, as Ra calls it, is another name for the unmanifested self.
It must be invoked for magical workings—meaning it is called upon.
But what is it exactly?
It’s a higher aspect of yourself—quite literally your Higher Self.
The magical personality or Higher Self resides in 6th Density, just like Ra.
This is the realm of Unity.
The 6th density relates to our 6th chakra, the third eye, and the indigo ray.
The energy body related to 6th density is known as the “form maker” or “gateway body.”
This is because the next density—7th density—is the gateway into intelligent infinity, the last step in our spiritual evolution, completing this grand divine octave we are a part of.
We complete this octave back into oneness.
So, the 6th density body, form maker, gateway body, higher self, and unmanifested self are all similar names for the higher self or Magical Personality.
This future version of yourself has access to infinity, is outside of time and space (unmanifested), and is capable of being invoked here in the 3rd density.
While the magical working is taking place, your magical personality is invoked.
For the duration of the working, you are directly working with your higher self.
An ethereal bridge between space and time forms, and in a joyous moment, you are working with your higher self in an intimate spiritual ritual.
You connect further with a higher aspect of yourself, in divine bliss. This also gives your higher self the opportunity to experience the 3rd density catalyst here.
This is a great healing and a great teaching.
Ra explains,
A very important point!
When invoking the magical personality, it must be “put on” like a garment or with a gesture.
This is the nature of ritual, and I'm sure it is purely for us here in 3rd density.
It helps the process to ritualise it and give it meaning.
So your magical personality is put on and invoked. In the same way, it must be “taken off” to signify the end of the magical practice.
You thank the magical personality for its help and send it back to 6th density to continue its role as your higher self.
Desire, Will, and Polarity: The Pillars of the Magical Personality

So, how do we achieve a good connection with the magical personality?
Ra explains that there are three main factors—Desire, Will, and Polarity.
These are essential in the process of invoking the magical personality and are, in fact, basic spiritual principles.
The Power of Polarity
Imagine a compass pointing unwaveringly towards true north.
In the realm of white magic, this true north is the positive polarity—service to others.
The magical personality resides in 6th density, a realm of unity, and will only work with the positive polarity.
This means your actions and intentions must align with being of service to others.
It's like tuning into a radio station— you need to be on the right frequency to connect.
Desire and Will: The Driving Forces
Desire and will are the twin engines that drive your spiritual vehicle.
The desire to be of service and the willingness to follow through are crucial.
Like a river flowing towards infinite the ocean—your desire is the current, and your will is the force that propels you forward.
It seems straightforward, but as we all know, maintaining this flow can be challenging.
Another critical point is having balanced energy centres.
They don’t need to be fully crystallised for magical working, but there needs to be a basic balance to be effective.
If you’re unbalanced and in need of help from others, it’s not a good idea to practice magic.
It's like trying to sail a boat with a hole in it—you're better off patching the hole first.
Ra explains that the invocation of the magical personality becomes more effective over time.
For a magic newbie, invoking the magical personality might not be very effective initially.
Over time, as one's will, desire, and polarity increase, the strength or potency of the magical personality will also grow.
The Disciplined Personality: A Path to Mastery
Another name for the spiritual practice needed to connect well with the magical personality is the Disciplined Personality.
This is mentioned throughout the Law of One and is essentially another name for basic spiritual principles.
This concept is a cornerstone of the Law of One and deserves much attention. In fact, it warrants its own post.
Ra beautifully encapsulates this with,
I've spent a lifetime pondering these quotes and their spiritual significance.
A person with a disciplined personality is actively working on themselves.
They constantly balance lessons and energy centers, distill thoughts and feelings, and express disciplined and aligned actions.
Visualisation: An Exercise in Will
Each magical working begins with visualisation, engaging the indigo ray or third eye chakra.
This serves as the gateway for invoking light in magical practices for communication, healing, and awareness.
As mentioned above, Will is a key player in spirituality. Therefore, it's a good idea to practice visualisation.
Ra advises,
Sit in a quiet space, close your eyes, and visualise something that inspires you.
This act of visualisation is a form of meditation. It strengthens the will and focuses your mind on the Creator.
Preparation and Rituals: Don’s “Rules” of White Magic

When it comes to white magic, preparation is key.
Don, ever the diligent seeker, came up with a set of rules for white magic and asked Ra to comment on them.
These guidelines serve as a blueprint for creating a focused and potent magical practice.
- Special Place of Working: A sacred sanctuary, a space dedicated solely to your magical workings. This special place enhances your focus and energy, creating an environment where the divine can easily flow through you. This can be as basic as a quiet corner of your room. Having a dedicated space is crucial.
- Magical Items: Think of magical items as keys or signals that help you call in your magical personality. These could be crystals, wands, or even a simple piece of jewellery. Each item holds a unique energy that aids in your magical workings, acting as a signal between the physical and spiritual realms.
- Special Clothing: Garments that are reserved only for your magical practices. These special clothes help you shift your mindset, signalling to your subconscious that it’s time to connect with the divine. It’s like putting on your spiritual uniform, preparing you both mentally and spiritually.
- Specific Time of Day: While Ra didn’t dismiss the idea of a specific time of day, they emphasised that it’s the repetition and regularity of your magical practices that matter most. Creating a routine helps build a structure, making it easier to tap into the magical flow.
- Specific Ritual Sounds: Chanting a mantra or playing a specific sound to get into the correct state of mind. These ritual sounds act as a gateway, helping you tune into the cosmic frequency.
- A Group Objective: Having a specific objective for each session focuses your energy and intentions. Whether you’re working alone or with a group, a clear goal helps direct the magical flow, making your practice more effective.
Ra, in their usual eloquent style,
The Power of Repetition in Magical Practice

Just like in other aspects of life, there is immense power in repetition.
Imagine calling in divine light, experiencing an epic spiritual connection, and doing this repeatedly.
Over time, you etch this power into the fabric of time and space itself.
That’s why a specific sacred space is important, as Don mentioned. It could be an altar or any dedicated area where you perform your magical workings.
This repetition creates a powerful energy imprint, making each subsequent practice even more potent.
Spiritual Work, Spiritual Growth, and Energy Centres

White magic unfolds through the unmanifested self in the 6th Density.
But how do we get there?
The journey begins with spiritual work—activating, unblocking, and balancing our chakras.
The spiritual adept, one who dedicates this lifetime to spiritual growth, will naturally progress and begin working with the 6th chakra, also known as the third eye.
We’re all on this spiritual path, growing, learning, and experiencing all the densities within this octave of creation.
In the higher realms, what we call magical abilities are simply a part of everyday existence.
White magic practices call upon our future selves and current guides.
In an epic, ritualistic moment, we connect.
The universe comes together, and for a brief, sacred moment, everything is one once more. Access to intelligent infinity becomes magically possible.
We all naturally develop our chakras and energy bodies, but they move in and out of balance regularly as we deal with life's challenges and learn our lessons.
This is why it's a good idea to practice white magic with other adepts or at least have a support group.
Remember, Ra explained that polarity is important—service to others.
This means that these magical practices are experienced with and for others.
Imagine your chakras as a series of spinning wheels, each one glowing with vibrant energy.
For effective magical work, these wheels need to spin smoothly and be in harmony with each other.
It’s key to be balanced and have smoothly functioning energy centres for effective magical work.
When your energy centres are aligned, you become a conduit for divine energy, capable of invoking the magical personality and accessing higher realms of consciousness.
Does White Magic Infringe on Free Will?

So you may be thinking, “How is magic allowed to happen?”
“Surely it’s against the principles of free will?”
Well, this is what Ra had to say:
We are each a unique expression of creation, with our own biases and perceptions. A magical practice performed by one person could be experienced as merely luck by another.
Imagine someone experiencing a coincidence and shrugging it off as just that, unaware of a magical practice that happened prior to that event.
The key to white magic is having a good connection to the source and gently asking divinity for a spiritual nudge.
We don’t fully understand karma, but there are divine beings responsible for policing it.
The universe sets the stage and deals our cards, and aren't we all a part of that in some way?
What Ra says at the end of their quote is crucial: if you, the magical practitioner, take ownership for the act—claiming it was your personal skills that caused this magical occurrence—then that is an infringement of free will.
Instead, you connect with the universe, allowing infinity to move through you, with the help of your magical personality.
An Honourable Mention to Reiki

Reiki is an incredible form of white magic, in my opinion.
I’ve been practicing it for a while and have been attuned to the three levels of Reiki. These are like initiations into the practice.
I’ve integrated it into my own spiritual practice over the years, and the themes of white magic are echoed within Reiki.
Reiki uses visualisations of certain symbols. Because so many people visualise these same symbols, they hold great power, carved into the astral realms.
When you visualise a certain symbol, you call upon the power of all those before you who did the same.
It works closely with the chakras and energy centers too, helping send energy and aid in the unblocking and balancing process.
You become a channel for the energy of the universe to move through you—just like Ra said.
The Most Powerful Form of Magic

Throughout the Law of One material, and especially towards the end, the group experienced psychic attacks, which Ra calls “negative greetings.”
This happened because they were doing such powerful spiritual work with Ra, attracting a lot of unwanted negative attention.
Don asked if there was anything else the group could do to alleviate these psychic attacks. Here is what Ra had to say:
This may seem like the cheesiest answer ever, but there is so much truth here.
The negatives are on the service-to-self path.
They only love themselves and seek to control and dominate you in their psychic attacks and negative greetings.
By offering them love, you give them the opposite of what they want, which can alleviate the attack.
Everything comes from love and will eventually fall back into it.
It is the most powerful form of magic.
Love is present within each moment, and when you find it, it has the power to transform in the most magical way.
Embracing the Path of White Magic

As we traverse the mystical landscape of white magic, we uncover profound truths about our spiritual journey.
It's a path that invites us to align with higher vibrations, harness the power of our unmanifested self, and engage in practices that resonate with love, light, and unity.
Through the disciplined practice of invoking the magical personality, we become conduits for divine energy, capable of manifesting positive change and accessing higher realms of consciousness.
White magic teaches us that true power lies not in controlling outcomes but in becoming a vessel through which the universe can work its wonders.
By focusing on desire, will, and polarity, we connect with our higher self and the infinite, allowing us to perform magical workings that align with the greater good.
The disciplined personality, a cornerstone of this practice, reminds us to know ourselves, accept ourselves, and ultimately, become our true selves.
The most powerful form of magic, as Ra puts it, is love.
Offering love in the face of negativity transforms the energy and aligns us with the highest vibration.
Love transcends all barriers and holds the key to true spiritual transformation.
That’s what magic is for me: an act of service, and an act of love.

A very well presented & inspiring ‘peace’..
Thank you, Sam
Thanks! ❤️
